Hammers duo up for awards

Sam Allardyce and The Hammers completed a perfect October with three wins out of three to lift them into the top four of the Barclays Premier League table.

Sakho scored in all three games, taking his tally to seven goals in as many starts for his new Club and cementing his reputation as one of the league's signings of the summer.

Chelsea boss Mourinho led his side to seven points from their three October fixtures, as the Blues defeated Arsenal and Crystal Palace but drew with Manchester United.

Bruce meanwhile, won one game and drew two with Hull during the month, with clean sheets against Crystal Palace and Hull City to boot.

The award winners will be announced on Friday morning.
