West Ham United are pleased to confirm that Executive Director Marketing and Communications Tara Warren has been promoted to the Club’s Board.
Ms Warren was recommended for promotion to the Board by CEO and Vice Chairman Karren Brady. Tara played a lead supporting role assisting her during the three long and complicated processes that ultimately led to West Ham being named anchor concessionaire and has been a key figure in setting and implementing the organisation’s marketing and sales strategy since.
Speaking of the appointment, Ms Warren, who has worked for West Ham United for more than six years, said: “I would like to thank our Chairmen and particularly our Vice-Chairman, Karren Brady, for their guidance and leadership. I truly believe in their vision for West Ham and their ability to deliver it, something which is already evident from our recent trajectory.”
West Ham United Vide-Chairman Karren Brady added: “I would like to congratulate Tara on her richly-deserved promotion to the Club’s Board. It is a testament to her commitment and ability that we have made this decision.
“The next few years will be like no other as we say a fitting farewell to the Boleyn Ground before delivering a new Stadium that will exceed our supporters’ expectations. It is vital we have skilled and knowledgable staff like Tara there to support us along the way.”
