This is proving to be an extremely busy time for the Club with regards strengthening the squad and I understand that the Board are working hard behind the scenes on bringing in several new targets.
I have heard they have increased their bid for a current French international and remain hopeful they will clinch his signature.
I also believe that the Club are considering a multi-million pound offer for an African international who has the potential to go on and become one of the best players in Europe.
There have been reports linking West Ham with a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye and my sources indicate to me that although the Club really like him, they are not convinced that PSG will be willing to sell him this summer.
West Ham have also been linked with moves for Olcay Sahan and Burak Yilmaz in the last 24 hours but my understanding is that the Club are not making moves for the duo.
With Slaven Bilic arriving at the Boleyn Ground this week, there has been rumours surrounding who will be appointed to his backroom staff.
I believe that the Club are close to appointing a goalkeeping coach and an announcement could be made in the near future.
