Over the next nine years, Cole would score 68 goals in 293 appearances, including spectacular, important and memorable strikes against Manchester United and Birmingham City in the 2010/11 League Cup.
Also among the top five was an unforgettable overhead kick at Manchester City in the Premier League in January 2008 and, of course, his opening goal in the 2012 Championship Play-Off final victory over Blackpool at Wembley.
