Manuel Lanzini, Adrian and Enner Valencia met hundreds of supporters at West Ham United's Lakeside store this week
As the school holidays drew to a close, West Ham United supporters of all ages turned out in force to meet three first-team stars at a shop signing event at the Club’s Lakeside Store this week.
Saturday’s goalscoring – and goalmaking – hero Manuel Lanzini was present alongside the popular duo of Adrian and Enner Valencia to meet supporters, pose for photographs and sign plenty of autographs for delighted fans young and old.
Lanzini, who put so many smiles on Hammers faces at Anfield by scoring one goal and making another in the 3-0 Barclays Premier League win over Liverpool at the weekend, was thrilled to do so again at Lakeside.
He said: “I’m really happy to be a part of this. It’s great to see all the fans here, especially the children.“
Nineteen-year-old supporter George Ellis from Essex was happy he made the journey to see the trio.
He said: “It’s been a good event. Adrian is one of my favourite players and he’s a West Ham hero, isn’t he? Enner and Lanzini too – he scored at Anfield to give us our first win there since 1963, so it was good to see him.
“I already had the home shirt for this season, so I thought I’d get the away one for the last year at the Boleyn Ground and I got it signed.
“The kits are so nice this year. They’ve been up there in the newspapers’ lists of best kits and they are all great.”
