West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Sullivan believes the Club should not fear playing against anyone after they were drawn to face Shrewsbury or Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup Quarter Final.
The Hammers produced an impressive display as they beat Blackburn 5-1 at Ewood Park with new signing Emmanuel Emenike scoring two goals during his first full start for the Club.
Dimitri Payet produced another superb display and also netted a brace to help the east London club reach the last eight of the competition.
Despite being drawn away from home once again, Mr Sullivan sees no reason why the players cannot re-produce that type of performance once again and will be full of confidence as they prepare to play in the next round.
Mr Sullivan said: “There is no point kidding ourselves that it’s a really tough draw, assuming United beat Shrewsbury as we must assume they will.
“It's hard to comprehend that we are drawn away yet again!
“However, we are a long way from being out and on our day we are well capable of winning or drawing at Old Trafford.
“Its not the draw we wanted, but neither was Liverpool away in the Fourth Round!”
