West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Sullivan is thrilled to have secured the signing of Sofiane Feghouli and believes he is an 'outstanding player'.
Mr Sullivan reveals the Club have been working hard to finalise a move for the 26-year-old who attracted interest from a number of big clubs across Europe.
Feghouli showed his quality in La Liga producing some of his best form at Valencia and will look forward to facing his Algerian team-mate Riyad Mahrez who was voted PFA Player of the Year for Leicester last season.
After securing the signings of Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini last summer, Mr Sullivan feels the Club have brought in another special talent who has a wealth of experience and will be another big addition to the squad.
Mr Sullivan said: “It’s a deal myself and my team have been working on for many weeks. I had a lengthy meeting with his agent ten days ago.
“He's an outstanding player and as big a star as Mahrez in his own country.
“If he adapts to the Premier League we have signed another very special player with experience all over Europe via the Cup competitions for his club.”
