West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Sullivan believes new signing Havard Nordtveit will be a great addition to the squad and expects him to become a top player for the Club next season.
Nordveit will become Slaven Bilic's first signing of the summer when he joins the Hammers on a free transfer on 1 July.
West Ham United have beaten off competition from several top European sides to clinch his signature and the Norway international will leave Borussia Monchengladbach when his contract expires.
Mr Sullivan is thrilled to have secured Nordtveit's services on a five-year deal and believes his versatility will be important for the first-team squad next season.
Mr Sullivan said: “He's a fantastic utility player who is proven at the highest level.
“He is a great addition to our squad and I'm sure the supporters will realise he is a top player by this time next year.”
