West Ham United will mark Remembrance Day with commemorations around today’s Premier League fixture with Stoke City.
The Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps will be performing on the London Stadium pitch in the build-up, while a Guard of Honour will be provided by G Company 7 Rifles, the army Reserve battalion based in West Ham (turn to pages 96-98 for more information), and the Royal British Legion.
Joint-Chairman David Gold, Mayor of Newham Sir Robin Wales and Stoke City Chairman Peter Coates will lay wreaths in the centre circle before a Minute Silence is held in memory of those who have been lost in conflict.
The players will wear shirts adorned with a special poppy emblem, which will be signed by their wearer and auctioned online to raise funds for the Royal British Legion following today's game.
