Ashley Fletcher was on target as Terry Westley's side maintained their challenge at the top of Premier League 2 Division Two with a 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
An own-goal by Albion's Jack Fitzwater set the Hammers on their way inside seven minutes, before Fletcher headed in Jonathan Calleri's cross just after the half-hour mark to double the hosts' lead at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Irish youngster Dara O'Shea pulled one back for the Baggies late on, but the home side held on to score a deserved victory. They remain third in the table, four points behind leaders Swansea City, who beat Stoke City on Monday evening.
