West Ham United wish brave young Hammer Jack Howard the very best as he continues his cancer treatment in the United States.
The 12-year-old has flown to Los Angeles for pioneering medical assistance after his family, friends and the West Ham family, including Joint-Chairman David Sullivan, came together to raise more than £200,000.
Jack, who underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy and had his kidney removed after a tumour was discovered in his abdomen in 2013, is currently battling kidney cancer for a second time.
After months of treatment in the UK, he has now travelled to California to take part in the progressive cancer drug trials which his family hope will rid his body of the disease.
The courageous Gravesend Grammar School pupil, who has also received a morale-boosting Facetime call from Dimitri Payet and Sam Byram, posted a heart-warming video on his Twitter page thanking everyone who has supported him.
“I want to say a big fat thank you for all the support I have had, especially from friends, family, the West Ham supporters and the Club,” said Jack, proudly wearing his Claret and Blue home shirt.
Everybody at West Ham United wishes Jack the very best with his treatment and hope to welcome him to London Stadium to cheer on his heroes soon.
