Our daily newspapers round-up adds another name said to be on West Ham United's summer transfer radar...

According to talkSPORT, the latest player to be interesting Hammers scouts is Algeria international Yacine Brahimi.

An international teammate of Sofiane Feghouli, Brahimi has been with Porto since 2014, scoring 17 goals in 70 league outings from his position as an attacking midfielder or winger.

He has also played in France and Spain, winning 31 Algeria caps along the way.

Meanwhile, The Sun report that West Ham will face competition from Crystal Palace if they want to land Stoke City and England right back Glen Johnson on a free transfer this summer.

BBC Sport carry the news of former Hammers loanee Simone Zaza completing his permanent transfer from Juventus to Valencia, after West Ham cut his loan short to allow the striker to head to Spain in January.

Jose Fonte says the Hammers cannot afford to rest on their laurels following Saturday's victory over Swansea City, urging them to back it up immediately when they head to Sunderland at the weekend.

He told the Daily Mail: “Our aim is to win the next two matches, then we can start to look at things a little differently. You can't take your foot off the gas in this league.

“It's a tough league, the best in the world, and if you are not 'at it' every single game, you are not going to win."

Finally, Joint-Chairman David Sullivan has moved quickly to dismiss a report in the Express claiming he and David Gold are looking to sell their stake in the Club.

In his response, Mr Sullivan said: "It is no secret that both David Gold and I see our long term futures as custodians of West Ham United.

"We have never once viewed West Ham United as a short term project and plan to be here for many, many years, bringing further progress to the Club on and off the pitch, and success to our loyal supporters.

"It disappoints me to see an article published that is so utterly false."
