West Ham United's Foundation has been working with the Premier League Primary Stars programme to help transform the lives of local school pupils.
Using the appeal of football and sport to connect and inspire, West Ham United Foundation are currently delivering the programme right across East London and Essex - and we teamed up with the Premier League to tell the story of Charlie in our video here.
The programme aims to develop skills and ambition both on and off the sports field, with resources for girls and boys aged 5-11 years old. Our professional staff provide curriculum-linked Key Stage 1 and 2 classroom resources for PE, Maths, English and PSHE, helping to engage and nurture development both in the classroom and playground.
Premier League Primary Stars encourages teamwork and resilience, by promoting equality, diversity and anti-bullying and you can find out how to bring the programme to your school by emailing Ross Williams.
