West Ham United will travel to League One side AFC Wimbledon for their Carabao Cup second round tie on Tuesday 28 August, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The London derby has been selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports and marks the first meeting between the clubs since AFC Wimbledon were formed in 2002.
Wimbledon earned their place in the second round of the competition with a dramatic 2-1 victory at Portsmouth earlier this week, scoring twice in the final 15 minutes through Joe Piggott and Anton Walkes.
Eight years since their elevation to the Football League, their meeting with the Hammers will be the Dons’ first ever participation in the second round of the competition.
The Hammers defeated League Two opposition at the same stage of the Carabao Cup last season, seeing off Cheltenham Town 2-0 thanks to goals from Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho.
They went on to reach the quarter-finals, beating Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur before their run was ended by Arsenal.
Ticket information for this fixture will be announced in due course.
