Declan Rice has dedicated Saturday's 2-0 win away to Fulham to the ‘outstanding’ West Ham United supporters that cheered the Irons on to victory.
The travelling Claret and Blue army was in superb voice at Craven Cottage as a terrific goal from Robert Snodgrass, and Michail Antonio’s cool finish, secured a fourth consecutive Premier League win for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
A constant downpour and freezing December conditions would not stop the West Ham fans from showing their support for the team, and Rice was delighted he and his teammates could give them the three points that their backing deserved.
“Typical West Ham fans!” The 19-year-old said. “They were absolutely outstanding. They come every game – away or home – and it’s outstanding from them.

Saturday’s opponents went into this weekend’s game with West Ham at the foot of the Premier League but Rice knew that Fulham would prove to be a tough opposition, and is happy with how the side defended against the Cottagers.
With sensational pace in the front line, Rice reckons the entire team performance from this weekend’s win deserves praise.
Rice confirmed: “It’s a massive result. We knew Fulham were bottom of the league but they had a home game today and they were going to come out fighting.
“We got two goals in the first half, and our defensive shape has been excellent. We know we’ve got the speed. We started with Antonio up top today with Chicharito, and Felipe Anderson out wide, but I think that’s why we defended so well.
“We picked them off on the break, and where they were so high up, we caught them on the counter.”
Confidence, according to the midfielder, is at a high among the West Ham players at the moment, with the side now looking to extend their winning run to five league games next weekend at home to Watford.
“I thought the whole team was excellent. To come away with the three points today, to make it four in a row; the lads are buzzing.
“We lost the first four games and the manager has always said we have to try to recover those points. Over the last four games we’ve done that, and now we look to Watford."
