Andy Carroll has been named in the West Ham United starting XI for Tuesday evening’s Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion.
The No9 came off the bench in the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth on Boxing Day and his efforts see Carroll start today’s match in one of two changes to the side by manager David Moyes.
The other comes in defence where Winston Reid is back in the side, replacing James Collins.
The New Zealand captain was on the bench against the Cherries on Boxing Day but Moyes has returned the centre-back to his side.
With Adrian in goal once again for the Irons, Reid forms part of a backline which also includes Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell.
Pablo Zabaleta and Arthur Masuaku are also in the starting XI, with the Argentinian continuing his run of playing in every Premier League game this season, while the latter is in excellent form.
Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyate form the midfield pairing while Carroll, coming in up front, is supported by the in-form Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini.
Manager Moyes will be able to call on his captain, Mark Noble, once again with the midfielder fit enough for a place on the bench, having missed the last couple of games due to injury.
Noble is joined by Chicharito, Collins, Joe Hart and youngsters Declan Rice, Domingos Quina and Sead Haksabanovic on the list of substitutes who the Hammers will be able to call on during the fixture.
