Manuel Pellegrini and his staff put West Ham United's through their paces in three intensive pre-season training sessions in Switzerland on both Thursday and Friday.
The squad at the Sportplatz Ri-Au home of Swiss 3. Liga club FC Bad Ragaz at 8am for the first session of the day – interval training – before heading back to the team hotel for breakfast.
The players then went through a pre-lunch strength and conditioning session, with the manager himself taking part, before dodging the lunchtime rain and spending the afternoon resting and recovering.

The third session of the day saw the footballs come out before dinner, with the variety of training preparing the players for the demands of the Premier League season ahead, before the players got into ice baths to speed up their recovery.
