Friday was another busy day in Bad Ragaz as West Ham United took part in no fewer than three training sessions at the Sportplatz Ri-Au.
With the sun again hiding behind the clouds, temperatures were mercifully low as the squad went for a 35-minute interval run before breakfast. It was then back to the pitch for a late-morning strength and conditioning session, before a healthy lunch.
And the working day ended with a football session before dinner, climaxing in a competitive and entertaining eight-a-side competition won by a 'Claret' team featuring Adrian, Pablo Zabaleta, Issa Diop, Arthur Masuaku, Mark Noble, Josh Cullen, Sead Haksabanovic and Martin Samuelsen.
Manuel Pellegrini will put his squad through their paces once on Saturday morning before the pre-season schedule kicks-off at Swiss Challenge League club FC Winterthur on Sunday afternoon.
