The players who pull on the Claret & Blue in the new 2018/19 Umbro kits will be in good company.
A whole host of legends have enjoyed the honour of turning out in West Ham United colours over the years, with few representing the Club with such distinction as four-time Hammer of the Year Billy Bonds.
Yet, whenever the 1975 and 1980 FA Cup winner was selected to represent the east Londoners he, too, took great inspiration from those who had gone before him.
Bonds modelled the new kits alongside the likes of Mark Noble and Sir Trevor Brooking, and he recalled his pride at wearing the colours.
He said: “It’s an honour to wear the shirt and so many great players have done.
“When you think of all the great players that have worn it, it was great to play with them. I was very lucky.”
