Declan Rice has had many moments to savour in his young West Ham United career.
He might have only broken through right at the end of the 2016/17 season, but the Ireland international has wasted no time in making his mark on the first team.
Rice has proven himself to be at home at the highest level, and he won the Man of the Match award when helping the Hammers claim a valuable 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur in January.
Speaking at the launch of our new 2018/19 home and away kits, Rice says he cannot wait for more moments like that.
He explained: “Tottenham was one of those matches where we needed to be on top form and me too personally, as I was up against Harry Kane.
“At the time he was probably the world’s best striker with his goals and his form. I knew I had to be on my game and luckily I was that day.
“Getting Man of the Match at Wembley, with my family watching, was a special moment.”
