Marko Arnautovic scored the only goal of the game as Austria grabbed their first UEFA Nations League win against Northern Ireland on Friday night.
The West Ham United forward cut inside from the left channel to slot past Northern Ireland goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell with just 19 minutes left in Vienna.
Arnautovic's 21st international goal takes his side second in Nations League B Group 3, three points behind leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They return to action on Tuesday when they face Denmark in an away friendly.
Elsewhere on Friday, Academy youngsters Serine Sanneh and Peter Stroud were on the bench for England and the USA U17s respectively as the Young Lions defeated their visitors 3-1.
