Pablo Fornals was delighted to share Saturday's 1-0 victory at Southampton with the West Ham United supporters.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been rewarded for his patience since arriving at London Stadium in the summer, hitting form recently with his assist at St Mary's making it three goals he has laid on in the last four matches.
However, he was quick to shift the praise to his teammates, and the fans for their continued superb backing.
"We needed a match like that, for us and for all the people who support us," he said. "Every time we win or we lose, they are with us.
"Saturday was like the Chelsea game for me, in that I did the pass but it was not easy to score the goal. Seb did the work himself and I’m happy for him.
"Both Seb and Michail are so strong and it was easy for the wingers and the midfielders to receive good balls because we knew they were running every time or fighting for the rest of the team.
"It was important for the confidence for the next games and we will try to continue to win these matches."
