West Ham United’s own Julia Simic and Alisha Lehmann have both been shortlisted for the Women’s Super League December Player of the Month award.
The Hammers duo both enjoyed excellent Decembers, with the Irons winning all three of their matches in the final month of 2018.
Both Lehmann and Simic scored twice in the 5-0 win away to Yeovil Town Ladies on December 9, with Simic also providing the assist for Brianna Visalli’s header in the victory.
The German also registered an assist for Jane Ross to score the only goal of the game against Brighton and Hove Albion at the start of December.
Lehmann, meanwhile, continued her excellent form with another goal and an assist in the 2-0 win away to Charlton Athletic Women in the Continental Tyres Cup.
The pair are both vying for the chance to become West Ham’s first ever FA WSL Player of the Month.
Lehmann and Simic are up against Georgia Stanway of Manchester City and Chelsea's Magdalena Eriksson in the voting.
Voting opens at 5pm here, closing at 5pm on Saturday 5 January, with the winner to be announced shortly after.
