The hard work continues apace for the Hammers on their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
Wednesday morning brought with it the second training session of their time in the Alps, as manager Manuel Pellegrini oversaw two hours of action on the pitches of local side FC Bad Ragaz.
Once again, the footballs made an early appearance as the Hammers begin their preparations for the 2019/20 Premier League campaign, as an early-morning thunderstorm cleared just in time for the work to begin.
After sequences which focused on the players' sharpness on the ball and tenacity to win it back, the squad had a series of drills designed to build their base fitness.
As on Tuesday, the session finished with a competitive training match.
