Marko Arnautovic’s fantastic showing for Austria on Monday has seen the West Ham United forward named in the FIFA 19 Team of the Week.
The Irons No7 netted twice in his national side’s 4-1 victory against North Macedonia, scoring from the penalty spot to put his team ahead before making the result safe with a cool header.
The two goals marked a memorable evening for Arnautovic, who also captained Austria for the third time, and his efforts have been rewarded with a new card in FIFA 19.
The 30-year-old’s special edition card is rated 87 – a huge increase from his base 82 score – putting Arnautovic among the very best Team of the Week cards issued this season.
Arnautovic’s newest card is his third Team of the Week this season, having also been awarded an 86-rated card for his brace against Brighton and Hove Albion in January, and an 84-rated card earlier in the season.
Felipe Anderson, Chicharito, Michail Antonio, Andriy Yarmolenko, Declan Rice, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks have all also received Team of the Week cards this season, while Rice was also awarded a Team of the Season card for his efforts.
