West Ham United’s Issa Diop and Arthur Masuaku dropped into the Stadium Store in Stratford this afternoon to meet and greet scores of delighted fans.
Youngsters, families and friends aplenty queued up for the defensive duo’s October half-term Store Appearance, eager to snap selfies and get autographs from their Claret and Blue heroes.
The duo are firm fans’ favourites at the Club, with centre-back Diop having already made 48 appearances since joining in summer of 2018 and left-back Masuaku now in his fourth campaign in East London.
We’re going to play at home now in our next two games and the fans are going to play a huge part in both of those, so hopefully they can help us to victories.

Fans brought their autograph books, shirts, footballs, programmes, posters and assorted paraphernalia for the defenders to ink their names onto.
Having spent the afternoon meeting supporters, shaking hands and doling out a few fist bumps and high fives here and there, Masuaku spoke of his appreciation for the chance to meet a small section of the Irons’ fanbase in person.
“It’s always nice to meet the fans and give back to them, because they support us so well throughout the season,” the DR Congo international told whufc.com.
“The supporters have been great for us. I remember how loud the noise was when we beat Manchester United, a great team, at London Stadium. It’s nice to live in London - I’m in love with the city.
“We’re going to play at home now in our next two games and the fans are going to play a huge part in both of those, so hopefully they can help us to victories.”
Diop echoed his colleague: “It was really fun to meet the supporters this afternoon. They give us everything all season, so we are happy to make them happy.
“We have a great relationship with the West Ham supporters, and we are very happy to have them behind us and always cheering us on.”
