Declan Rice admitted that West Ham United need to find their ruthless streak again as they aim to return to their early-season form.
The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United at London Stadium on Saturday, frustrated at being pegged back by Lys Mousset's second half equaliser after Robert Snodgrass had edged them in front.
Rice and his teammates looked well placed to claim three points after a first half in which they outpassed their opponents by 293 to 140 and held a one-goal lead, but ultimately had to settle for just a single point - an outcome which left the England midfielder disappointed.

"It’s very frustrating," he said. "I think if you look at the first half, we completely dominated the game. In the second half, we came out and started well but it’s pretty much the same old story in that we haven’t taken our chances.
"We had two or three big chances to kill the game, they’ve gone up the other end and scored to put a real downer on it.
"It was looking good at half time, the fans were excited because we were playing well and we were pressing well.
"One little mistake and it ends up in a goal and only a point instead of three, so it’s a disappointing day."
A positive aspect that Rice was keen to dwell on was the impact of Snodgrass, who scored on his first Premier League start since the second game of the season.
"I knew he was going to come in and play a blinder like he did," Rice said. "The work rate he gives, and the deliveries from his left foot are special.
"He’s such a top pro and, yeah, I’m delighted for him today."
Rice reckons the Hammers will be presented with a similar test when Newcastle United visit E20 next weekend, and he knows they need to be more clinical to ensure their four-game wait for a Premier League victory comes to an end.
He added: "We just need to put the ball in the back of the net. We’re creating enough, but we’re not scoring enough. In the Premier League you need to kill teams off and we haven’t been doing that of late.
"We’ve got it in us, we’ve got the squad and we’ve got the quality. Newcastle will play a similar game, they play five at the back and sit in. We’ll need to give it everything."
