Football may be on hold but West Ham United's virtual season has been rolling on with West Ham United, as per their original Premier League fixture, taking on Burnley at EA SPORTS FIFA 20 on Saturday afternoon.
Representing West Ham was resident eSports player Jamie 'Jamboo' Rigden, who took on his Burnley counterpart, Brad Colston, in an entertaining best-of-three affair.
Albian Ajeti's goal in the first game was enough to salvage a draw for Jamboo, before a tough break of luck - the Hammers player went close on numerous occasions - saw him slip to defeat in the second.
It looked as though an overall draw was on the cards when Jamboo raced into a 2-0 lead in the third and final game, only for Colston to battle back late on and claim the series overall.
