West Ham United supporters were in attendance at London Stadium for the first time in 280 days for Saturday evening’s Premier League fixture against Manchester United.
Following the Government’s placing of London in Tier 2 of COVID-19 restrictions from Wednesday 2 December, a small proportion of the Claret and Blue Army – 2,000 spectators – were able to attend the game in person.
The Club has been working in conjunction with all relevant stakeholders to put an efficient and effective plan in place, with the main aim of giving supporters a safe and enjoyable matchday experience at London Stadium.
Those lucky supporters present did their Club and representative fanbase proud, making their voices heard with a strong backing for David Moyes’ West Ham United team in east London against the Red Devils.
