Robert Snodgrass’ brace against Brighton has seen the West Ham United star named in EA Sports’ FIFA Team of the Week.
The Scot was superb in Saturday afternoon’s 3-3 draw against the Seagulls, netting a pair of sweetly-struck volleys – albeit both aided by deflections – either side of half-time.
Snodgrass’ superb free-kick had earlier also set up the Hammers’ opening goal, his on-the-money delivery from wide poked home by defender Issa Diop with half-an-hour played.
While the Hammers lost hold of their advantage late on, Snodgrass’ enterprise, endeavour and excellent technique capped a man-of-the-match display which earned him this week’s virtual accolade.

Snodgrass is one of four Premier League players to be named in the 23-man squad, receiving a special Team of the Week card for Gameweek 21 in FIFA Ultimate Team.
This sees his usual 76-rated card boosted up to 81, with significant boosts to his stats across all categories.
Snodgrass becomes the third West Ham player to be awarded with a Team of the Week card so far this season, following in the footsteps of Aaron Cresswell and Mark Noble, who were included after home wins over Manchester United and Bournemouth respectively.
The card will be available in packs from 6pm GMT this evening.
