Nor Mustafa has spoken of her pride at making the switch to West Ham United.
The forward became the Barclays FA Women’s Super League side’s fifth signing of the summer ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, with Mustafa admitting the move to the Hammers is a huge step in her career progression.
The 18-year-old has heard how passionate the West Ham supporters are and, combined with the Club’s incredible history, the chance to make the move to east London could not be turned down.
I am just here to enjoy my football, learn and to give the fans something to cheer about.

“This is a very big thing for me," Mustafa told whufc.com. “I am very honoured and proud to be representing West Ham, who are such a great club with a very big history.
“I’ve heard a lot about the fans too, and how amazing they are. I am just here to enjoy my football, learn and to give the fans something to cheer about.”
Head coach Matt Beard has a strong reputation of working with and developing young players, something Mustafa knows, and the Irons’ latest acquisition is excited to learn from her new manager and become an even better player.
She continued: “I really like the way Matt [Beard] coaches. I’ve heard very good things about him and that West Ham is putting so much time and effort into women’s football. That’s a big thing for me and makes me very happy.
“Matt has helped a lot of young players to develop and become world-class players. Of course, I want to be one of them and I’m very excited to work with him. All of the girls have been nice and very welcoming, so it feels good.”
Having begun her career with the Hammers with involvement in pre-season training, Mustafa is now looking forward to her first taste of Barclays FA WSL football.
“I am very excited for the season to start,” she added. “During pre-season, we need to put in the hard work to be prepared for the season. Then we need to do everything it takes. Of course, we want to win titles.
“I would describe myself as strong. Even though I’m big in size, I also think I’m very technical. I think that’s one of my greatest qualities. I’m quick and powerful too.
“I would say: ‘Be ready for Nor!’”
