November saw West Ham United women’s team claim three wins out of a possible four games, including a first Barclays FA Women’s Super League victory of the season.
The month started and ended with emphatic Continental League Cup Group D victories, secured at home to Reading and away to Charlton Athletic, while the Irons also claimed a victory away to Birmingham City in the league.
With a number of outstanding performances throughout November, three Hammers have been nominated for the ZO Skin Health Hammer of the Month.
Emily van Egmond has been in immense early season form for West Ham, scoring three goals in four matches throughout November, with each of her respective finishes coming in West Ham’s trio of victories; at home to Reading and away to Birmingham City and Charlton Athletic.
Striker Martha Thomas could not have started November any better, picking up a hat-trick of assists in the 3-0 win over Reading. The Scotland international also got the vital touch that forced West Ham’s first goal in the comeback win at Birmingham, before ending the month with West Ham’s fourth goal away to Charlton.
Completing the trio of nominated Hammers is Rachel Daly. The Lioness features at both full-back and on the wing in November, providing three assists and also scoring in home win over the Royals.
