West Ham United's home Barclays FA Women's Super League match with Brighton & Hove Albion has been moved to a 12.30pm kick-off on Sunday 15 November.
In support of the return of Women's Football Weekend over the 14-15 November, every Barclays FA WSL fixture will be staggered across the two days, meaning all six matches will be available to view without any clashes.
The Hammers' home match with Brighton & Hove Albion has therefore been brought forward slightly and will now kick-off at 12:30pm at Dagenham & Redbridge Stadium. The match will be live to watch on the FA Player.
The two sides met recently in the FA Women's Continental League Cup group stages, playing out a 2-2 draw over 90 minutes, featuring goals from Rachel Daly and captain Gilly Flaherty. The Hammers would claim the extra point on offer thanks to victory in the penalty shoot-out.
Kelly Simmons, The FA’s Director of the Women’s Professional Game said: “Women’s Football Weekend was a huge success last year and the images of big crowds in main stadia is a special memory.
“It is sad that we can’t welcome Barclays FA WSL and FA Women’s Championship fans into the stadiums this year, and for that reason we have focused the weekend on ensuring people can watch as many games as possible from the comfort of their own home.
"For those who follow a club at grassroots level, where fans are allowed, it is a great opportunity to show your support by attending in person. It’s sure to be another fascinating and exciting weekend.”
