West Ham United will face Everton in the Carabao Cup fourth round at Goodison Park on Wednesday 30 September at 7.45pm.
The Hammers will travel to Merseyside after overcoming EFL League One opponents Charlton Athletic and Hull City, with a quarter-final place the reward should they secure victory over Carlo Ancelotti's Blues.
Everton defeated League Two side Salford City in the second round before winning 5-2 at League One Fleetwood Town earlier this week.
This will be just the third meeting between the two clubs in the competition's 60-year history. Everton prevailed on both previous occasions, 2-0 in a fourth-round replay at Goodison Park in December 1983, and 2-1 in a quarter-final tie at the Boleyn Ground in December 2007.
West Ham are seeking their first-ever EFL Cup triumph, having reached the final in 1966 and 1981, but lost to West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool respectively.
Wednesday's tie will be played without supporters present, in line with Government guidelines and social distancing measures still in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
