It had the feeling of another time: tens of thousands of Claret and Blue-clad supporters roaring 'Bubbles' for their heroes as they entered the London Stadium pitch.
But West Ham United fans are back and, as they proved in inspiring their team to a 2-0 victory against Serie A heayweights Atalanta on Saturday, ready to make their mark yet again.
Saturday afternoon's Betway Cup match against Atalanta marked the Irons' highest attendance in East London since before the outbreak of the global pandemic, and it's safe to say that everybody involved embraced the occasion.
From players receiving thunderous applause - including new signing Alphonse Areola on his West Ham debut and Declan Rice and Andriy Yarmolenko in their first games since their international heroics at UEFA Euro 2020 - to a boisterous atmosphere inside London Stadium, and an exciting game of football to match, Saturday's Betway Cup victory was one to remember for everybody present.
