In a unique twist and to celebrate the full return of supporters to this season’s Carabao Cup competition, the EFL and Carabao Energy Drink are giving you the chance to host the Round Four draw live from a location of your choice.
Former Premier League winner and Sky Sports pundit, Micah Richards, and former West Ham United manager, Harry Redknapp, will be leaving behind the comforts of the Sky Sports Studio and could be making the draw live from a village community centre, grassroots football club, local pub or even your back garden. It will all be down to you to decide where the Round Four draw takes place - so if you fancy ‘having a cuppa with the King of the Jungle’ or ‘munching biccies with Micah’, this is your chance!
TV personality and recent EFL footballer, Mark Wright, will also be bringing fans all of the live and exclusive action from behind the scenes with Harry and Micah throughout the evening.
After a hugely difficult 18-month period, the absence of football fans from stadiums up and down the country has been felt by everyone associated with the game. To help give a little bit back, the EFL and Carabao Energy Drink want to recognise the crucial part supporters play week-in-week-out by taking the prestigious draw back into the community and held at a special location picked by a fan.
The Round Four draw will include the last 16 Clubs left in the competition with eight ties selected as the competition edges closer towards its Wembley finale. Manchester City have dominated the competition over the past few years with four consecutive titles and if Pep Guardiola’s side were to lift the Cup in 2022, they would become the most successful side in the competition’s history.
The Round Four draw will be held on Wednesday 22 September live on Sky Sports Football, but the real question is where will it take place?
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is visit www.carabaocup.com/winthedraw and explain in 50 words or fewer why you deserve the chance to host the Carabao Cup draw.
Entries close on Wednesday 8 September where a shortlist will be decided before a final decision is made by a panel of judges including representatives from the EFL, Carabao Energy Drink and Micah and Harry themselves.
