West Ham United is delighted to be welcoming 10,000 supporters back to London Stadium for our final Premier League match of the 2020/21 season.

Following confirmation by Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday, the Hammers will make their eagerly-anticipated return to action in front of our fans against Southampton in east London on Sunday 23 May, with kick-off at 4pm, for the finale of what has been a hugely positive and enjoyable campaign.

David Moyes’ squad challenging at the top end of the Premier League table only adds to our excitement of being able to welcome back some of our supporters, and while we know it isn’t all of our fans just yet, it will be a special and emotional day, with the hope that 60,000 of you will be back with us in person very soon.

The Club has been working in conjunction with all relevant stakeholders, including continuing consultation with the Independent Supporters Committee throughout, to put an efficient and effective plan in place, with the main aim of giving supporters a safe and enjoyable matchday experience at London Stadium – the first time since this has been permitted since West Ham were the first Club to host supporters in the Premier League when restrictions were temporarily lifted for the visit of Manchester United in December.

We will once again be applying a proportionate allocation of tickets, including to 2020/21 Season Ticket Holders, Partners and Club London members, the latter two of which are in the process of being contacted directly by their Relationship Managers.

West Ham United is proud that London Stadium continues to be the home of affordable football in London and the Premier League, with those successful in the ballot able to attend at the pro-rata rate of their Season Ticket – from just £5.21 per match for Under-16s, £8.42 for Under-21s and Over-65s, and £16.84 for Adults! For the full pricing list, click here.

Following the Government’s positive announcements regarding the easing of England’s lockdown, including the aim to remove all legal limits on social contact by 21 June 2021, the Club is also continuing to plan and prepare for the moment we can fill London Stadium once again in the 2021/22 season.

With the new Premier League campaign starting on 14 August, and the Hammers looking to build on their exhilarating 2020/21 season, supporters can look forward to the new term with renewed excitement and optimism.

The Season Ticket and Club London renewal process opened to the Claret and Blue Army in April, and thousands of Hammers fans have already booked their seats online as part of record numbers renewing - secure your Season Ticket now here - or over the phone as we gear up for the eagerly-anticipated return of 60,000 fans to London Stadium. The Season Ticket renewal deadline is Monday 14 June at 5pm.

Season Ticket Holders who have paid in full for the 2020/21 season do not need to take action and will be automatically entered into a ballot for the opportunity to obtain tickets for the Southampton fixture. Those who are unable or do not wish to be entered into the ballot will need to complete the exemption form before 12pm on Wednesday 12 May.

Season Ticket Holders who were successful in the ballot for the Crystal Palace fixture in December 2020, which subsequently changed to being played without supporters present, will receive first priority for this fixture, followed by all others who were not successful in the ballot for the Manchester United fixture earlier in the season. Those who did attend the Manchester United fixture will only be put into the ballot assuming all other supporters have had the option to, and decided against, attending the Southampton game.

Supporters will be informed via email and SMS whether they have been successful in the ballot or notfrom 2pm on Wednesday 12 May – so please check your e-ticketing account and all of your email folders including your junk folders. If you do not receive an email regarding the ballot, please call the Ticket Office on 0333 030 1966. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Successful supporters will be invited to login into their account from 2pm on Wednesday 12 May via eticketing.co.uk/whufc - to view their notifications and purchase seat(s) that have been reserved within their account by 9.30am on Friday 14 May, at which point seats which have not been purchased by this time will be released and offered to fellow supporters.

Supporters will be able to secure their ticket(s) by either using a relevant payment card or any available Club Cash balance. All in line with Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) guidance, the tickets will only be available to download onto a mobile device or printed at home. There will be no opportunity to forward or exchange the ticket, while no paper tickets will be printed. If supporters do not have access to a smartphone or cannot print at home, supporters will need to call the Ticket Office on 0333 030 1966. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Tickets are non-transferrable and must be used by the named Season Ticket Holder.

As for Bondholders, they will also have the opportunity to secure a seat from a limited number available – the Club will communicate directly to those supporters today. Like above, tickets which are not purchased by 9.30am on Friday 14 May will be released to fellow supporters via the ballot.

Supporters will be socially distanced across all four stands inside the stadium, with general admission Season Ticket Holders in the Bobby Moore, Billy Bonds and Sir Trevor Brooking Stands, and Club London members seated in the West Stand. In line with SGSA guidance and to maximise the opportunity to see fans back at London Stadium, seats must be socially distanced, even if supporters attend with someone from their household. This means that all tickets allocated will be separated by between one and two seats.

Supporters may not be sat in their usual seat, but the Club will make every effort to ensure you are sat within your ticket band or the band above

The Club is following of the latest guidance issued by the Government, SGSA and the Premier League. As soon as we have any further information on this, we will communicate with all Season Ticket holders personally.

Supporters should note that all of the above is subject to change and approval from the relevant authorities.

Thank you

West Ham United is very much looking forward to welcoming some of our loyal supporters back to London Stadium.

It’s been a unique and challenging time for everyone. The Club would like to thank every member of the Claret and Blue Army for your continued understanding, cooperation and support.

We hope this will be a hugely positive step to the return of full stadiums from the start of next season.

Further information regarding the matchday experience for the Southampton fixture will be directly communicated to supporters who have been successful in the ballot.
