West Ham United are looking to extend their winning run to three matches when they take on bottom-of-the-table Birmingham City on Sunday afternoon.
After fantastic wins against Leicester City and Manchester City, confidence is high amongst Olli Harder’s ranks as we gear up for matchday five in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL).
How to watch
Tickets are available on the day of the game for our match against the Blues, with the Ticket Office at the Chigwell Construction Stadium opening at 1pm on Sunday afternoon.

Team News
There has not been too much change regarding the treatment room, with Maisy Barker and Grace Fisk the long-term absentees. Barker and Fisk are working well at our Chadwell Heath training ground, but will not be in involved on Sunday.
The main success has been the return of Kateřina Svitková, who started her first match of the season in the 2-0 win over Manchester City last weekend.
Lisa Evans will return to the matchday squad after working incredibly hard during the period that the midfielder was unavailable for selection.
However, Grace Garrad will be unavailable for Sunday’s match due to an ongoing knee issue.
The Opposition
It ha been a summer of change and transition for Birmingham City. Carla Ward left as manager to head across the second city to rivals Aston Villa, while ten players departed, including Claudia Walker.
Last season, Birmingham finished in eleventh place, two points above relegated Bristol City. They are yet to win a WSL match in 2021 but did draw 2-2 with the Hammers at Chigwell Construction Stadium last season.
Scott Booth took over the reins this summer, having won six titles in succession with Glasgow City in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
As a player, Booth played for five different clubs in a playing career bookended by spells at his hometown club of Aberdeen. The striker recorded over 200 appearances for the Dons, scoring 70 goals, and was part of the squad that lifted the 1995 Scottish League Cup.
The Blues, similar to the Hammers made wholesale changes in the summer, with 13 new players arriving in the Midlands, including former West Ham loanee Emily Ramsey, who has started their opening four league games.
Birmingham have been beaten by Tottenham, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Manchester United in their opening four games. So far, Jade Pennock is the only Blues player to have found the back of the net, scoring against Everton in their 3-1 defeat.
