It was another memorable night to add to the already long list from the 2021/22 season as West Ham United ended Manchester City's four-year reign as Carabao Cup holders on Wednesday.
The Hammers won through 5-3 on penalties after a well-contested 0-0 draw at London Stadium, completing a double over the Manchester clubs in this competition.
The Claret & Blue Army all over the globe enjoyed it, as a look through Twitter shows...
WE MAKE IT THROUGH ON PENALTIES! ?

There was plenty of praise for the Hammers players, who shone to a man...
Alphonse Areola was fantastic. Showed his world-class qualities to deny City on a few occasions. What impresses me most about him is his mentality, he’s been second fiddle this season but has stepped up and performed when called upon. Very good goalkeeper.

Fabianski steps it up, Areola has a brilliant game, Coufal is one of our best players, Johnson takes his chance, our CB’s keep a CS against Spurs, Diop & Dawson keep another CS against City. We finally have decent depth in a lot of positions who are pushing for a regular spot.

What a fantastic win by Hammers. Whole team were great. But especially my Man of the Match Alphonse Areola. And great to see Captain Mark Noble lead the way in the perfect penalty shoot out. #COYI

This team we have fallen in love with is special. Cherish every moment that we are seeing right now. Fortune may have always been hiding for us, but this team, this band of men led by a warrior on the sideline and an army of believers, may just unearth it all. #WestHam #COYI #WHU pic.twitter.com/WSh8f2tlNz
