Vicky Park Rangers announced as Sister Club of West Ham United Women

West Ham United Women are delighted to announce that local girls’ football club Vicky Park Rangers have become an official Sister Club partner of the team.

The scheme will see young players at the Hackney-based club receive tickets for West Ham women’s home matches at Victoria Road, as well as benefiting from player appearances, coaching sessions and more.

Vicky Park Rangers were formed in 2018 to give girls from east London the opportunity to play football in a safe and fun environment.

West Ham United Women are currently looking to support the development of women's and girls' football in East London and Essex. We are hoping that this alliance will help with the development of local players, providing opportunities to young players, as well as growing our existing fanbase by offering free and discounted tickets to our partner clubs.

In a statement from Vicky Park Rangers about the new partnership, their club founder and lead coach Taner Baycanli said:

“We are delighted to become a Sister Club of West Ham United women’s team and all the girls associated with the club will benefit from this in many ways.

“They will have role models, women’s players at West Ham, to be inspired by, and that is hugely motivational for them. We have many girls who are West Ham supporters, so they are really happy to be associated with the club they support.

“It’s important that girls can see there is a pathway into the professional game now. Many of our players  are men’s team season ticket holders too, but it is hugely inspiring for them to see women’s players as they can relate to them far more.

“West Ham United Women are a fantastic club to be associated with and we look forward to cheering the first team on at their home games.”
