After excellent performances in the recent draw away to Blackburn Rovers and the 2-1 win at Cheltenham Town in the Papa Johns Trophy, lead coach Mark Robson may opt to keep faith with a similar starting XI.
Junior Robinson made his return from a small set-back on Tuesday, featuring on the bench for the young Irons, and will be pushing for a place in the side.
Divin Mubama and Kamarai Swyer have been absent from recent squads with minor injuries, with both hopeful of returning in the very near future.
Opposition…
Brighton & Hove Albion have found their form in recent weeks.
After a tricky start to the season, the Seagulls have claimed eight of their nine points so far this campaign in the last five matches, securing a 4-1 win away to Leicester City and a 4-1 victory at home to Tottenham Hotspur, as well as impressive draws with Arsenal and Manchester United.
Currently sat tenth in Division 1, Brighton occupies the very spot in which they finished the 2021/22 campaign.
Central to their recent goalscoring form has been the impressive Evan Ferguson. The 17-year-old attacker has six goals and two assists in seven matches this season, with the Irish forward netting a hat-trick in the win over Leicester City.
Winger Todd Miller has also started the campaign well, with three goals in seven matches, while midfielder Andy Moran has three finishes and two assists from eight outings.
The young Seagulls are guided by head coach Shannon Ruth, who has not long been appointed to the role. The 31-year-old took the position in late September, having previously been assistant to Simon Rusk.
Ruth played at non-league level and began his coaching journey with Chelsea at 18-years-old, before later holding the Head Of Goalkeeping roles at Reading and Aldershot.
