Dagný Brynjarsdóttir was involved in the final match of the international break early on Thursday morning.
Czech Republic and Iceland were taking part in their final assignments of the SheBelieves Cup, with matches taking place at the Toyota Stadium in Texas.
Brynjarsdóttir made her 99th cap for her country in what would be a difficult night for the team, as they were comfortably beaten 5-0 by the United States.
Catarina Macario scored a brace before half-time, whilst Mallory Pugh added two of her own in the second half. Kristie Mewis added a fifth just before the full-time whistle as the US claimed their third consecutive SheBelieves Cup victory.
Iceland finished only a point behind the United States in the standings, a good showing for the nation that are ranked 16th in the current FIFA World Rankings.
The Czech Republic faced off against New Zealand to decide who would finish third and four in the group. Having drawn with the United States in their opening match, they were then beaten by Iceland, so would have been hoping to end the tournament on a high.
However, despite dominating for the majority of the game, they couldn’t find the breakthrough against a stubborn Kiwi defence, with the match ending 0-0 – with Kateřina Svitková an unused substitute in the draw.
This meant that the Czech’s finished in 3rd place, a point ahead of New Zealand.
That brings an end to the February international break, as West Ham United Women now turn their attention to this Sunday's Vitality Women's FA Cup Fifth Round match against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
The Hammers are back in Barclays FA Women's Super League action on Thursday 10 March, when they host Chelsea at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
