A general view of Old Trafford

Date set for Manchester United FA Cup tie

West Ham United's Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie away at Manchester United has been set for Wednesday 1 March, with kick-off at 7.45pm GMT, and will be broadcast live in the UK on ITV1.

The Hammers will head to Old Trafford hoping to seal a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time in seven years, following victories over Brentford and Derby County in rounds three and four.

Erik ten Hag's side have seen off Everton and Reading - both by 3-1 scorelines - to reach this stage of the competition.

West Ham and Manchester United have been regular opponents in the FA Cup down the years, with this tie marking the eleventh time the teams have been drawn together in the competition, and the sixth time since 2001.

Our most famous FA Cup victory over the Red Devils came at the semi-final stage in 1964, when Ronnie Boyce's double, added to a Geoff Hurst goal, secured a 3-1 win. Ron Greenwood's men would go on to lift the trophy at Wembley.

We have been allocated up to 9,000 tickets for this tie at Old Trafford, with tickets now available to Season Ticket Holders with Loyalty Points. Click here for full ticketing details and sales dates.
