Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, presented by Heineken...
West Ham United climbed to fifth in the Premier League table with a 2-0 home win over Leeds United on this day in 2021.
First-half goals from Jesse Lingard and Craig Dawson were enough to see off Marcelo Bielsa's visitors at London Stadium and close to within two points of Chelsea in fourth.
On 21 minutes, Lingard netted at the second attempt after being tripped inside the area by Luke Ayling and seeing his penalty parried by Illan Meslier in the Leeds goal.
Seven minutes later it was 2-0 as Dawson met Aaron Cresswell's far-post corner with an unstoppable header.
Pablo Fornals also hit the crossbar in the second half with a dipping shot as David Moyes' side maintained their challenge for European qualification with a third win in four Premier League matches.
Leeds were not without chances themselves, having seen two early 'goals' ruled out by VAR, the first for offside and the second as the ball had gone out of play in the build-up. After falling behind, Raphinha forced Łukasz Fabiański into a fine save, Patrick Bamford blazed over and Dawson cleared off the line late on.
