West Ham United fell to a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford headed home a Christian Eriksen cross seven minutes before the break to put the hosts ahead, before the Hammer launched a second-half onslaught that only came up short due to the heroics of home goalkeeper David de Gea.
Michail Antonio and Kurt Zouma saw their efforts spectacularly saved by the Spaniard in the closing stages, before De Gea made an even better save in added-time, springing to his left to stop Declan Rice from snatching a point with a fingertip intervention.
In between, Jarrod Bowen also had a chance to grab an equaliser, only to see his first-time shot from Pablo Fornals' cross blocked by his former Hull City and current England teammate Harry Maguire.
And so it was that, as at Chelsea and Liverpool, West Ham gave everything but came away with nothing from an away game.
