Lifelong West Ham United supporter Flynn Downes has joined his boyhood Club.
The 23-year-old midfielder has joined from EFL Championship club Swansea City, having signed an initial five-year contract with the Hammers.
Born in Brentwood in Essex, Downes spent 15 years with Ipswich Town, making nearly 100 first-team appearances, enjoyed a promotion-winning loan spell with Luton Town and was capped by England at U19 and U20 levels, before moving to the Liberty Stadium.
After a single impressive season in South Wales, he will continue his career in his beloved Claret and Blue.
