FPL - Gameweek 32 Preview

As West Ham United head to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday looking to stretch an unbeaten run to three matches in the Premier League, here is your FPL preview...

Saïd on song!

Saïd Benrahma has been impressive in front of goal in 2022/23. And with 14 goal contributions ahead of West Ham United’s trip to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, he is certainly one to watch in FPL.

Offering points in attack with assists and his finishing ability throughout the season, Benrahma once again found himself on the scoresheet as the Hammers came from two goals down to draw with Arsenal last Sunday.

After Paquetá was fouled to see the Hammers awarded a penalty, Benrahma was tasked with pulling his side back into the fixture that looked to have moved out of reach.

With the No22 stepping up, the result was inevitable. He has now scored all eleven of his career penalties. Benrahma’s fourth of the 2022/23 season saw the Algerian forward send Arsenal's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale one way, as he slotted the ball into the other corner.

But there’s more. The £5.5m-priced midfielder also has a decent record against Sunday’s opponents. He struck the second goal of the Hammers’ 2-0 home win over Bournemouth in October, when again he converted from the spot. His FPL total that day stood at eight points.

And so, he heads to the south coast in good form, hoping to play his part to secure a league double over the Cherries. And should he do just that, the FPL points could arrive too.

Opposition One to Watch: Dominic Solanke

With 28 FPL points from his last four Premier League matches, Dominic Solanke has started to make a mockery of his fantasy price tag.

Solanke

The Bournemouth No9, who finished one short of 30 EFL Championship goals last season, is priced at just £5.6m and has picked up 108 FPL points so far.

Owned by 2.1% of FPL bosses, Solanke has recorded 12-point hauls twice this season – against Nottingham Forest and Fulham, while eight points came in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Leicester City.

More recently, he has recorded nine points against Fulham, before a best season showing of 15 FPL points came against Tottenham Hotspur last time out. As a result, the Hammers will have to be at their best to stop the former Chelsea and Liverpool striker on Sunday.
