West Ham United U21s concluded their pre-season with a hotly contested 1-1 draw with National League side Dagenham & Redbridge at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Full-back Regan Clayton gave the developmental side the lead in the first half, but an own goal from Angelo Ogbonna saw the competitive pre-season game finished all square.
Clayton gave the Irons the lead at Victoria Road with a coolly taken finish, set by Mipo Odubeko, just a few minutes after the striker himself had a goal ruled out for offside.
Krisztian Hegyi was called into action early in the second half, sensationally tipping Mauro Vilhete's effort onto the post, but there was little he could do to stop Ogbonna's attempted clearance from ending up in the West Ham net.
