Odubeko and Swyer celebrate a goal versus Arsenal u21s

Highlights: U21s 2-3 Arsenal

West Ham United U21s fell to a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Arsenal U21s in an entertaining fixture at Rush Green Stadium.

Contested in front of live supporters at the home of the Hammers development side for the first time in over two years, the Irons took the lead on 13 minutes thanks to Kamarai Swyer's industrious pressing, leading to the midfielder stealing possession and curling home a terrific finish.

The Gunners were able to level quickly through Marquinhos' low effort and the Brazilian added a second for the north London side to give them the lead just before half-time.

The visitors had a third on 55 minutes through James Olayinka but West Ham battled back as, for the second time in two games, Dan Chesters played in Mipo Odubeko to coolly net.

Divin Mubama went close in the dying embers of Friday's contest with a header, but the points returned to north London with the Gunners.
