West Ham United U23s secured their place in the Premier League Cup quarter-finals with an excellent 5-1 win over fellow Premier League 2 Division 1 side Leeds United.
It was the away side that took the lead, against the run of play, as Mateo Joseph caught the Hammers on the counter-attack to slot past Krisztián Hegyi, only for Armstrong Okoflex to coolly finish five minutes later to restore parity.
Dan Chesters gave the Irons the lead before half-time with a curling effort, before Okoflex added his second and West Ham's third from the penalty spot early in the second half.
Sonny Perkins also found the net from 12 yards after another penalty was awarded, with Manny Longelo superbly netting a powerful first-time effort to add the Irons' fifth.
